TITLE: Banish Boredom From Your Practice Time and Double Your Results
DESCRIPTION: I have been playing musical instruments since the 6th grade, and have spent thousands
of hours of my life practicing. Practicing is work, but it doesn't have
to be boring work, and after spending hundreds of hours practicing
didge, I have found LOTS of tricks to make it more fun and productive. I
will talk about online instruction, using electronics, practice habits,
motivation, and goals, prepping for performances, circular breathing,
composing songs, and practice gear and space, and more. When I started
playing didge, I had to spend a bunch of time figuring all this stuff
out by myself, and I think that players, especially newbies, can jump
the line and get better results faster with some of my ideas and
experience, avoid the boring practice rut and have fun, instead.
